RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has formed a special enforcement squad to take strict measures against encroachments.

The enforcement squad will have six inspectors headed by the Assistant Director Building Control. Strong action will be taken against encroachments in all areas under RDA.

According to the RDA spokesperson, the meeting was held under the chairmanship of RDA Director General Kanza Murtaza. In the meeting, RDA DG said that all resources will be used to control the encroachments.

Full support will be provided to the enforcement squad while zero tolerance policy is being implemented to eradicate encroachments. RDA Additional Director General Owais Manzoor Tarar, Director Admin and RDA Finance Asif Mehmood Janjua and Director Building Control Jamshed Aftab participated in the meeting.
