Yung Gravy exposes Hawk Tuah Girl’s Instagram DMs: “Can’t be nice anymore”

As Yo Gotti’s 2015 track suggests, sometimes connections really do start in the DMs.

This seems to be the case with Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn’s rumored romance. However, Yung Gravy is refuting claims that his interaction with Haliey Welch (also known as Hawk Tuah Girl) began in a similar way. Welch recently told TMZ that Yung Gravy reached out to her privately to ask her out. In response, Yung Gravy dismissed the claim with a laugh and provided evidence to contradict it.

On X (formerly Twitter), Yung Gravy quipped, “Can’t be nice anymore, LOL.” He shared a screenshot of their Instagram conversation from July 31, showing that Welch had actually initiated contact first with a message saying, “Hello sir.” The chat reveals that Yung Gravy then invited Welch to one of his shows, clarifying that he wasn’t trying to make any advances, but simply wanted her to attend his event.

While Yung Gravy has previously flirted online, as seen with Lizzo, he insists that this time, he is not involved.
