The legendary brown fedora worn by Harrison Ford in the 1984 film "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" has been sold for an impressive $630,000 at auction, according to AP. The iconic hat, which was expected to fetch between $250,000 and $500,000, once belonged to the late stunt performer Dean Ferrandini, who also wore it while doubling for Ford.

The fedora, crafted by the Herbert Johnson Hat Company in London, was reportedly a challenge to keep in place during filming, necessitating the addition of foam pieces for a better fit. Its sale underscores the enduring popularity of Indiana Jones memorabilia, with other notable items like an Imperial scout trooper helmet from "Return of the Jedi" and a ghost costume from "Scream" also fetching high prices.

"Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," the second installment in the beloved franchise, starred Harrison Ford alongside Kate Capshaw and Ke Huy Quan. The film's iconic imagery and thrilling adventures continue to resonate with fans, as evidenced by the remarkable price paid for this piece of cinematic history.
