Professors told to explain bypassing VC

LAHORE:

The administration of the Lahore College for Women University has sought an explanation from eight professors, including five heads of departments, over complaining directly to the chancellor.

A notice issued by the vice-chancellor states that any correspondence or complaint is made to the office of the VC under the university rules and policy.

If no action is taken on the complaint within reasonable or stipulated time, then the applicant can approach the higher authorities.

Those who have been issued notices include the heads of economics, environment science, chemistry and zoology departments.
