Dakota Johnson has dismissed recent rumours suggesting that she and Chris Martin have ended their relationship.
"The reports are not true," Johnson’s representative told The Post shortly after the rumours surfaced on Friday, adding, "They are happily together."
Speculation began after a source claimed to the Daily Mail that the couple, who have been together for over seven years, had "now accepted the relationship is over — and it’s best to move on."
These rumours gained traction as Johnson, 34, was notably absent from the European leg of Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” tour and had not been seen wearing her engagement ring throughout the summer.
However, Johnson was last seen supporting Martin, 47, at the Glastonbury Festival in June, where she watched his band’s performance. The couple, who began dating in 2017, have faced breakup rumours before, including a brief separation in 2019, which was never confirmed.
Since their relationship began, Martin and Johnson have kept a relatively low profile but have been open about their co-parenting relationship with Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow. Johnson, who has embraced her role as a stepmother to Martin’s children, Apple and Moses, has expressed her love for them, saying, "I love those kids like my life depends on it."
