SCCI rejects fixed tax on traders

PESHAWAR:

Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Fuad Ishaq rejected the imposition of fixed tax on traders and asked the government to immediately take back its decision. He warned that SCCI, along with the traders' community, would protest against unjust taxes.

He was speaking during a protest camp of Peshawar's Saddar traders against the fixed tax imposed by the Federal Board of Revenue.

The traders hoisted banners with inscribed the messages such as 'unacceptable, unjust taxes'.

The protesting traders also hoisted black flags in camp and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
