A video of social media influencer Shawty Bae's arrest has gone viral, sparking widespread amusement on TikTok and YouTube.
The incident, staged as a prank by TikToker Jaykindafunny with the help of Shawty's boyfriend, left her visibly upset. Shawty Bae, unaware that the arrest was part of a joke, believed it to be real and became distressed when 'police officers' pulled them over during a car ride.
The prank intensified when her boyfriend, who was in on the joke, handed her fake drugs just as the officers approached, prompting Shawty to hide them under her seat.
As the officers searched the vehicle and discovered the drugs, her boyfriend falsely claimed they belonged to her, leading to her arrest. Shocked and feeling betrayed, Shawty Bae was taken into custody, unaware that the entire scenario had been orchestrated.
The prank ended shortly after, but Shawty’s anger was evident as she walked away, leaving her boyfriend to attempt to make amends.
Shawty Bae, whose real name is Jasmine Orlando, is a well-known figure on TikTok, where she shares dance videos and humorous content. Despite her lively persona, she has openly discussed living with Bell’s Palsy, a neurological condition causing partial facial paralysis.
