Punjab Police to probe Bushra in May 9 cases

ISLAMABAD:

The Punjab Police have received permission to investigate PTI founder Imran Khan's spouse Bushra Bibi in connection with the May 9 cases.

Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana accepted the Punjab Police request to question Bushra Bibi in 12 cases.

Bushra Bibi is already in detention in a new Toshakhana case. She is being kept at the Adiala Jail due to security concerns. As many as 12 cases are registered against her, including 11 in Rawalpindi and one in Attock.

The ATC Rawalpindi had directed the police to furnish its report in seven days after completing the investigation.
