Disney D23 expo unveils exciting new attractions for parks worldwide

From an Avatar-themed land to a Coco ride and a Monsters, Inc. land, Disney Parks worldwide are getting upgraded.

Disney fans have plenty to look forward to, with a slew of exciting new attractions coming to Disney parks around the globe. At the D23 Expo, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D'Amaro unveiled plans for fourteen new attractions, five new shows, and a brand-new online universe.

Highlights include an 'Avatar: The Way of Water'-inspired land at Disney California Adventure, an expansion of Avengers Campus, and the first-ever ride based on Pixar's 'Coco.'  Additionally, visitors can anticipate a 'Cars'-themed area at Magic Kingdom, a 'Monsters, Inc.'-themed land at Hollywood Studios, and 'The Lion King' coming to life at Disneyland Paris.

Disney is also partnering with Epic Games to create an online universe featuring characters from beloved franchises like Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel. Meanwhile, new nighttime spectaculars and lounges are set to debut at various parks.

Other notable additions include an 'Indiana Jones' attraction and the first-ever 'Encanto'-themed ride at Disney World, Mando & Grogu coming to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and a reimagined Test Track at EPCOT. With so much in store, Disney fans are sure to have magical experiences for years to come.
