Girl rescued from Lahore six days after abduction
A young girl who was abducted six days ago from Lahore has been successfully rescued by the Dolphin Squad on Multan Road.
The squad acted on a distress call made to emergency number 15, leading to the recovery of the girl.
The abductors, three women identified as Shamim, Shahida, and Parveen, were reportedly attempting to transport the girl to another city when they were intercepted by the Dolphin Squad.
According to a spokesperson for the squad, the women were forcibly taking the girl with them when the rescue operation was carried out.
The girl's abduction had been reported by her father, who filed a case at the Chuhang police station.
The Dolphin Squad, acting promptly on the information, managed to locate and rescue the girl, who has since been reunited with her family.
The abductors have been handed over to the Hanjrawal police station for further investigation.
