Travis Scott’s 2024 has been marked by a series of legal entanglements, continuing a pattern that has followed the rapper throughout his career.

Most recently, Scott was arrested in Paris in August after an alleged altercation with his bodyguard at a luxury hotel.

This incident came just two months after Scott’s arrest in Miami on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing.

In that case, the rapper was taken into custody after a night out at Miami Beach Arena, where he reportedly caused a disturbance and was later released on bond.

Scott’s legal troubles are not new.

His first arrest occurred in 2015 during his performance at Lollapalooza, where he was charged with disorderly conduct after encouraging fans to breach security and rush the stage.

The incident, which resulted in the show being shut down just five minutes into his set, was a sign of the legal challenges that would continue to follow him.

In 2017, Scott was arrested again, this time in Rogers, Arkansas, for allegedly inciting a riot during a performance at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion.

The rapper reportedly urged fans to bypass security and rush the stage, leading to injuries and property damage.

He was later released from Benton County Jail and eventually took a plea deal in 2018, paying a fine and avoiding more severe charges.

Perhaps the most notable controversy in Scott’s career came in 2021, during his Astroworld Festival in Houston.

The event turned tragic when 10 people lost their lives and hundreds more were injured in a crowd surge.

Scott faced significant backlash and was sued for $1 million by an attendee, but a Texas grand jury decided not to indict him in June 2023. "I always think about it.

Those fans were like my family," Scott told GQ in a November 2023 interview, reflecting on the tragedy.

In 2023, Scott was again in legal trouble after an incident at Nebula nightclub in New York City. Authorities sought the rapper after he allegedly assaulted a sound engineer and caused $12,000 in damages to equipment.

While Scott’s legal team described the incident as a misunderstanding, it added another chapter to his growing list of legal woes.

Despite these challenges, Travis Scott remains a prominent figure in the music industry.
