Renowned Pakistani actress and model Kiran Malik strongly criticized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for receiveing credit for Arshad Nadeem's gold medal win at the Olympics.
While Arshad Nadeem's historic victory filled the entire nation with pride, a video of the premier celebrating the win with his Advisor on Youth Affairs, Rana Mashhood, went viral on social media.
In the video, as Arshad Nadeem set the record, Rana Mashhood credited the victory to the Prime Minister, stating, "Prime Minister, this was your vision."
Taking up her Instagram, Kiran questioned the Prime Minister's role, asking, "Did you give Arshad Nadeem the opportunity? No, sir! He struggled on his own, and you didn't even provide him with gym facilities for training."
Addressing Rana Mashhood, she added, "Give Arshad Nadeem the respect he deserves because he has brought great pride to the entire Pakistani nation on a global level."
In the javelin throw event held in Paris, France, Arshad Nadeem shattered records with a 92.97-meter throw, living up to the nation's expectations and setting a new Olympic record.
