GTA 6 still set for release in fall 2025, Take-Two confirms

Despite recent speculation of a delay, Take-Two has confirmed that GTA 6 will still launch in Fall 2025.

In a recent financial update, Take-Two Interactive has reaffirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to be released in the 'Fall of Calendar 2025.' 

This confirmation comes amidst widespread speculation and rumors that the highly anticipated game might be delayed until 2026. Despite these concerns, Take-Two's announcement assures fans that the game is on schedule.

The confirmation follows a major trailer release in December 2023 by Rockstar Games, which created significant buzz and set new YouTube viewership records. GTA 6 is anticipated to be one of the most significant video game releases in industry history, being the first new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series in over a decade.

The financial update from Take-Two also highlighted other upcoming titles such as Civilization VII, Judas, and WWE 2K25, alongside GTA 6. 

While rumors about the game's content continue to circulate, Rockstar Games has maintained a tight lid on details following significant leaks in 2022. The company has increased security measures and required employees to return to the office to prevent further leaks.
