50 Cent, renowned for his impressive collection of luxury watches, recently added a new, deeply personal piece to his collection.

On August 6, the rapper showcased a custom Rolex Turbo Tourbillion on Instagram, designed by New York jeweler Tajia Diamonds and valued at an astonishing $5 million.

This extravagant timepiece holds special significance as it pays tribute to his late grandfather, Curtis Jackson, Jr.

The watch features a unique design with a photo of Jackson, Jr. printed on its face.

"Our time here is limited," 50 Cent captioned the post.

"I want to thank you in advance for not wasting mine."

The tribute reflects the profound influence his grandfather had on him.

50 Cent shared with Now Afro Beats how Jackson, Jr. effectively raised him, providing a traditional and stable upbringing.

"We were living on my grandfather’s income," he recalled.

"He was real old-fashioned. He is a representation of tradition for me."

50 Cent credited his grandfather with shaping his understanding of wealth and hard work.

"If you understand where you’re at financially, you make logical decisions," he explained.

Despite the irony of spending $5 million on a watch, the rapper's intention to honor his grandfather is clear.

Following Jackson, Sr.'s passing, 50 Cent posted several photos on Instagram, expressing gratitude for his grandfather's sacrifices.

"My old man is [a] tough act to follow, he sacrificed for all of us," he wrote.

Jackson, Sr.'s wife Beulah, whom 50 Cent called the love of his life, passed away from cancer in 2022.

The rapper has been vocal about the deep impact both grandparents had on his life.
