Derry Girls' Star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell to participate in fundraiser for Gaza victims with Motaz Aziza

Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, known for her role as Michelle Mallon in the hit comedy series Derry Girls, will participate in a fundraiser for the victims of the war in Gaza, according to irishnews.com. Azaiza has gained international recognition for his photojournalism documenting the horrors of the Gaza war since its outbreak last year. He has been named "Man of the Year" by GQ Middle East and listed as one of Time Magazine's most influential people of 2024.

The event, organized by the Derry branch of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign, sold out within hours of its announcement. All proceeds will go towards funding a food drop in Gaza and supporting Azaiza's Irish tour.
