WWE SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland was a night full of dramatic turns and unexpected outcomes.

The main event saw Roman Reigns make a surprising return, aiding Cody Rhodes to defend his undisputed WWE championship against Solo Sikoa. Reigns had been absent since his loss to Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in April.

Cleveland was the backdrop for high-stakes drama, including betrayal and intense matchups. Cody Rhodes, with Reigns' help, overcame Sikoa in the main event.

Drew McIntyre avenged his past losses to CM Punk, capitalizing on a distraction caused by Seth Rollins, who served as the special guest referee.

The event saw four major title changes, a rare occurrence since WrestleMania. Liv Morgan defended her WWE Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley, who fought valiantly despite a shoulder injury.

Ripley ultimately lost after Dominik Mysterio betrayed her, helping Morgan to secure her victory.

The Intercontinental Championship saw Sami Zayn lose to Bron Breakker, who capitalized on Zayn’s mistakes to clinch the title. Logan Paul, accompanied by Machine Gun Kelly, lost his United States Championship to LA Knight in a high-energy match filled with memorable moments.

Nia Jax defeated Bayley to win the WWE Women's Championship, overcoming Bayley's speed with sheer strength. The match ended with Jax hitting her signature A-Nia-Later move.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre featured Seth Rollins as the special referee. McIntyre ultimately defeated Punk after a dramatic match that saw Punk's rare mistakes and Rollins' controversial officiating decisions.

In another highlight, GUNTHER defeated Damian Priest to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Priest’s attempt to confront Finn Balor, who interfered, gave GUNTHER the opening to secure the win.

The undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa concluded the event. Roman Reigns' unexpected return and interference helped Rhodes retain his title, setting up a potential storyline involving Reigns and the Bloodline faction.
