Renowned Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan has expressed her admiration for Pakistani music, highlighting its role in fostering a sense of unity between the people of India and Pakistan.
In a recent interview, Chauhan shared her positive experiences working with Pakistani artists and praised the rich musical culture across the border.
“I have collaborated with many Pakistani artists, and my experience has been exceptional,” said Chauhan. “I don't see any differences between us. Whenever I travel to Canada, the USA, or the UK, I meet my Pakistani friends and fans, and it feels like we are the same because our language, food, and culture are all alike.”
Chauhan further emphasized that the love and camaraderie between the people of India and Pakistan are largely due to the influence of Pakistani music, which transcends borders.
While acknowledging that the Pakistani film industry may not be as large as India's, Chauhan remarked, “Pakistan's music is fantastic and incredible. Pakistani people show immense love for their singers, and even in India, Pakistani artists receive a lot of affection.”
“Listening to Pakistani music is a delightful experience for all Indians, including myself,” she added, reinforcing her belief in the power of music to bring people together.
