Renowned Pakistani social media influencer with a massive following, Jannat Mirza, has recently shared insights into her personal life, discussing her reasons for calling off her engagement and her thoughts on marriage.

In a candid conversation during a podcast, Jannat opened up about the decision to end her engagement, a topic that had sparked significant curiosity and speculation among her fans.

She explained that the decision was not made lightly. "I think I was not ready for the breakup; why would I be ready for such a thing? But yes, I was not afraid of it, I was happy after that," Jannat stated.

She emphasised that the decision to end the relationship was not impulsive, as she and her former partner had deliberated over it for two years. "The thing that could happen in the future has happened before. I think calling off a Nikah or marriage hurts more, so it is okay that it all ended before. We talked about it before ending it. I could not live in such a relationship. I have a strong support system, including my parents and sisters," she added.

Beyond discussing her past relationship, Jannat shared her views on marriage, revealing that she prefers the traditional route of an arranged marriage.

"Arranged marriages have more charm. In my past relationship, I could see multiple issues. There were things that couldn’t be ignored, especially regarding marriage because it happens for a lifetime," she said.

She also mentioned that she no longer believes in giving second chances in relationships, though she was more forgiving in the past.

Jannat revelations have sparked widespread interest and discussions across social media platforms, with many of her followers expressing support for her decision and praising her for being open about her experiences.
