Charles White, known online as MoistCr1TiKaL or penguinz0, has addressed rumours of his retirement.

In a recent video, White expressed confusion over the widespread belief that he was quitting the internet. "I didn't know I was retiring," he stated, adding, "That's news to me; I'm as shocked as all of you are." The misunderstanding stemmed from a post by his collaborator, Jackson, announcing White's departure from their podcast, which led to exaggerated claims on social media that he was retiring entirely.

White clarified that he is only stepping back from certain projects to reduce his online presence, not leaving the internet. He emphasised his continued enjoyment in creating content, referencing a recent gameplay commentary video. "I was bubbly full of jubilation," White said of his latest video, noting his surprise at the backlash.

The retirement rumours were further fuelled by controversy surrounding White's coverage of various topics, including a debate on the age of consent with another internet personality, Sneako. White acknowledged his shortcomings in the debate and reiterated his stance against child marriage, expressing regret over the miscommunication. "I found his statements on the age of consent and children marrying adults hideous, absolutely revolting," he declared.

In conclusion, White reassured his audience that he is not retiring but is merely scaling back his involvement in some online activities to focus on content that brings him joy. "I think I'm just going to be sailing off into the sunset here and reducing the amount of stuff I do online," he explained. He aims to steer clear of internet drama and return to creating the engaging and light-hearted content that he loves. "I'm going to go back to focusing on the content that I'm most happy with," White affirmed.
