Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has announced the release date for "Vultures 2," the sequel to his collaboration album with Ty Dolla $ign.
On Tuesday, Ye's website, yeezy.com, revealed that "Vultures 2" will be released on 2 August. The homepage features a blank screen with a countdown and the message: "ALL ORDERS FULFILLED. VULTURES 2 COMING AUGUST 2ND."

The highly anticipated album has been teased for months. Initially, Ye and Ty Dolla $ign announced in January that "Vultures 2" would drop on 8 March, the second of three planned volumes. However, the album did not release as scheduled, and only the cover art was revealed the following day. In an April interview with Justin Laboy, Ye stated the album would be out on 3 May, but it was delayed again.
Ty Dolla $ign has since hinted that the album's release was imminent. Last month, he confirmed the songs were complete and announced listening events in Asia.
Given Ye's history of missing release dates, it's uncertain if "Vultures 2" will arrive on time.
