The music industry is buzzing with excitement as Ty Dolla Sign drops a major hint about the long-awaited sequel to the collaboration album with Kanye West, 'Vultures 1'.
Known for their unpredictable album releases, the duo has kept fans waiting since the first album's debut in February.
Ty Dolla Sign recently ignited fan excitement with a single promotional image for a listening party scheduled for August 25 in Taiwan, promising a unique "listening experience."
Originally slated for a March release, 'Vultures 2' was part of a planned trilogy with 'Vultures 3' following in April.
However, plans were derailed amidst various controversies involving Kanye West. Despite the delays, Ty Dolla Sign confirmed to Billboard that all songs for 'Vultures 2' are complete, fueling anticipation for a release that could surpass its predecessor.
"We got all the songs," he stated. "Basically, it’s just like, 'How can we get it there? How can we go bigger than the first album?'"
The announcement of the listening party in Taiwan, closely following a similar event in Korea, suggests that the project is finally coming together.
Ty Dolla Sign’s caption "V2" alongside the promo sheet further cements the arrival of the second album in the trilogy.
While a new release date has not been officially set, the scheduled listening events are a promising sign that the 'Vultures' trilogy may indeed reach its conclusion.
