Former President Donald Trump recently discussed gender pronouns and democracy in an interview with Fox News' Laura Ingraham. The conversation touched on various topics, including Vice President Kamala Harris and the pronouns she lists in her social media bio.

Ingraham began by addressing claims from Democrats that Trump posed a threat to democracy due to his actions surrounding the 2020 election. Trump refuted these claims, stating, “I am the opposite of a threat to democracy.” He also commented on the possibility of Harris taking over from President Joe Biden, describing the situation as a coup. “This was a coup. Biden is a very angry man right now. You know that. They took the presidency away,” Trump said. “His wife didn’t want it to happen. They took the presidency away like he was a child.”

The interview then shifted to the topic of pronouns. Ingraham noted that Harris lists her pronouns as "she/her" in her Twitter bio and asked Trump about his pronouns. Trump responded, “I don’t want pronouns.” When asked if he was "fluid," Trump replied, “Nobody even knows what that means. Ask her to describe exactly what that means.”

Trump continued, criticizing the focus on pronouns and calling for a return to traditional values. “Nobody knows because they’re going crazy, alright?” he said. “We have to bring our country back to sanity.”

This interview follows Trump's defense of JD Vance's 2021 comments about Harris and other Democratic politicians being a "bunch of childless cat ladies with miserable lives."
