The biggest movie in the U.S. this past weekend, "Deadpool & Wolverine," has not only dominated the box office but has also reignited interest in one of NSYNC’s most iconic hits. The superhero film's popularity has propelled NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" back into the top 40 on iTunes.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" cleverly incorporates NSYNC’s "Bye Bye Bye," leading to a resurgence in the song's popularity. As of now, the track stands at No. 35 on the U.S. iTunes chart. The song’s resurgence can be attributed to its high-profile feature in the movie, with the version on the chart even labeled “Bye Bye Bye (From Deadpool & Wolverine).”

The movie's soundtrack was released on Wednesday, July 24, and has significantly influenced the song's sales. Following the blockbuster’s theatrical release, the soundtrack and its tracks surged in popularity. Currently, two versions of the soundtrack are in the top 10 of the American iTunes albums-only ranking.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" achieved an impressive box office haul of $211 million in its first weekend in the U.S., a remarkable feat for an R-rated film. This performance far outpaced the previous week's top movie, "Twisters," which earned $35 million domestically in its latest weekend.

NSYNC’s "Bye Bye Bye" remains a pop classic, and its renewed success highlights the impact of strategic song placement in popular films. The movie’s association has undoubtedly driven the song's momentary comeback, showcasing the power of film and music collaborations.
