Leah Kateb from Love Island USA season 6 has provided an update on her relationship with Miguel Harichi, hinting that their romance may soon become official.
The couple, who were runners-up in the show's finale on July 21, has been a focal point for fans throughout the season.
In an exclusive interview, Leah, 24, shared her feelings about her relationship with Miguel, 27. “I think it’s on the way,” Leah said when asked about their official status. “I wouldn’t be worried about us. We’re really locked in.” She described Miguel as the “best person I’ve ever met in my life,” expressing deep gratitude for his presence and support.
Leah revealed that Miguel’s arrival in the villa came at a crucial moment, following her breakup with Rob Rausch, who had shown interest in another contestant, Andrea Carmona. “I was miserable, I was absolutely miserable. And then everything changed and I’m just so lucky,” Leah admitted. She acknowledged that Miguel’s support and understanding were pivotal in her personal growth during the show.
“He is an honest, good man, and I feel very lucky that we’re even at the place that we’re at,” Leah continued. She praised Miguel for his ability to understand her and for the positive impact he had on her throughout the season. “He taught me so much, and I think you can literally see the growth of me throughout the villa,” Leah said.
Regarding her past connection with Rob, Leah commented that they are “not compatible romantically at all,” contrasting it with her relationship with Miguel, which she described as fitting together “like a puzzle piece.”
Since leaving the villa, Leah and Miguel have been apart, with Miguel based in London and Leah in Los Angeles. However, they are looking forward to reuniting for the Love Island USA season 6 reunion on August 19. In the meantime, Miguel has been showing his support from afar, with Leah recently sharing that he wished her good luck on a call.
