Drake seems to be taking a more lighthearted approach to his previous feud with Kendrick Lamar.

On Sunday, July 28, the Toronto-born rapper shared a humorous clip on Instagram of a lookalike performing his hit "Hotline Bling" in a New York boxing gym, captioning it with a nod to Lamar's "Not Like Us," stating, “Sometimes you gotta pop out.”

This isn't the first time Drake has playfully referenced Lamar's tracks.

Recently, during a bowling match, he amusingly called himself "69 God," echoing another line from Lamar’s chart-topping diss track.

These playful jabs suggest that the once heated rivalry between the two music giants has simmered down.

Despite the past animosity, Drake’s recent collaborator, Gordo (formerly known as Carnage), shared insights into Drake’s current mood with People magazine.

“Ever since all this has happened … I’ve seen him happier. It’s really weird. He’s pretty jolly,” Gordo explained, dismissing any negative speculation about Drake's well-being as misinterpretation due to bad photography.

Gordo further emphasized that Drake has moved past his feud with Lamar and is now focusing on personal contentment.

"He’s been past it," he noted, adding that Drake’s lengthy touring schedule might have contributed to any perceived stress.

Currently, the artist is enjoying some downtime after a grueling year-long tour.

During their feud, Drake released several diss tracks aimed at Lamar, while Lamar responded with performances and a music video that subtly targeted Drake’s OVO brand.

Yet, with these recent developments, it appears both artists are moving beyond their past disputes.
