The news was reported by the Irish Independent, citing her death certificate, which was formally registered in London by her former husband, John Reynolds.

O'Connor, known for her iconic song "Nothing Compares 2 U," was found unresponsive at her London home in July 2023 at the age of 56. While her death was initially deemed not suspicious, the specific cause was not disclosed until now.
