MIRPUR:

A devastating landslide has severed the vital Kohala-Muzaffarabad highway, leaving Azad Jammu Kashmir's capital city disconnected from Islamabad and Rawalpindi for the second consecutive day.

The disaster has stranded commuters, with authorities scrambling to restore traffic flow.

According to official sources, the landslide, triggered by heavy rains, has blocked the highway at Dalai, near Muzaffarabad.

The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) is working tirelessly to clear the debris and reopen the road. In the meantime, travelers are advised to take the alternative route via Abbottabad.
