The aircraft carrying Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made an unscheduled landing at Karachi Airport on Saturday evening due to the need for refuelling, Express News reported.

The plane, en route from Laos to Ankara, landed at Jinnah Terminal at 4:55pm after the captain requested permission from Karachi air traffic control for refuelling.

Following the refuelling, the Turkish foreign minister and his delegation resumed their journey to Ankara.

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori welcomed Minister Fidan and his delegation upon their arrival at Karachi airport, extending a warm greeting on behalf of Pakistan.

During their conversation, Governor Tessori invited Turkish investors to explore attractive investment opportunities in the province, assuring them of all possible support in Pakistan.

"The province offers a highly educated, experienced, and hardworking young workforce that is attractive to investors," Tessori remarked.
