Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband, Apollo Nida, was arrested and charged with family violence battery following an alleged dispute with his wife, Sherien Almufti, legally known as Sherien Copes.

Legal documents acquired by Page Six on Thursday reveal that the incident occurred in March.

The police report states that Copes called the cops after she “had just come [sic] home from a bar with friends and had three alcoholic beverages.”

She informed police that she and Nida, who secretly wed in October 2022, “were having a verbal altercation about how they were cheating on each other.”

Copes told officers that during the "verbal altercation," Nida, 45, showed her "a video of her kissing another man."

She then alleged that he "pulled her by the hair and pushed her against a refrigerator," which led to a "scuffle" between them.

Copes stated that she "ran outside and called for help" before returning inside to retrieve her phone from the ground "to call the police."

At that point, she reported that her husband "left the location."

Copes then presented the responding officers with "a surveillance video of the verbal altercation," which "did not show the physical altercation."

Nida later "returned to the location" and provided a statement to the police that was "consistent" with Copes' account.

“The only thing that was different was the physical altercation,” according to the police report, noting that Nida claimed he “tried to take … Copes’ phone from her" during the argument.

While trying to take the phone from Copes, Nida told officers "she balled up onto the ground" to try to "protect her phone."

After Nida managed to "take the phone from her," he stated that Copes "ran outside and called for help."
