Marvel Studios electrified the opening night of San Diego Comic-Con with a surprise screening of "Deadpool & Wolverine" in Hall H. The film's stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, and director Shawn Levy joined Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige for a brief, entertaining chat before treating fans to an exclusive viewing of the R-rated movie.

Fans, armed with Wolverine popcorn buckets handed out moments before, were thrilled by the unexpected screening. "Deadpool & Wolverine" is already projected to shatter the R-rated preview record, potentially raking in $35M-$40M+, far exceeding "Deadpool 2's" $18.6M.

After the screening, the cast and crew received a standing ovation as they took the stage. Cameos by Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Wesley Snipes, Chris Evans, and Dafne Keen were revealed, adding to the excitement. Feige even teased a drone show for fans to enjoy later that night.

This surprise screening marks a potential new tradition for Marvel Studios, capitalizing on the enthusiasm and buzz of Comic-Con. With "Deadpool & Wolverine" poised to break records, it's clear that this bold move has paid off for the studio.
