Ava Kris Tyson, a prominent YouTube personality and long-time collaborator with MrBeast, has resigned from the MrBeast media organization following allegations of inappropriate behavior with a minor. Tyson, known for her work alongside the MrBeast crew and her significant social following, addressed the allegations on X (formerly Twitter), where she apologized for any past behavior or comments that may have hurt or offended anyone.
I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent. Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health.

Tyson's resignation follows accusations that she had inappropriate conversations with a minor. The alleged victim, known online as LavaGS, defended Tyson, stating, "Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of." LavaGS further criticized the allegations as "massive lies and twisting the truth."
Despite these defenses, Tyson announced her resignation, stating, "Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health."
Tyson has been associated with MrBeast, run by YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, since its inception in the mid-2010s. Donaldson and Tyson have been friends since childhood, with Tyson being one of the four best friends brought on as the channel grew.
The allegations against Tyson are part of a broader trend of high-profile content creators facing accusations related to minors. In June, streamer Dr Disrespect admitted to messaging a minor in 2017, leading to his ban from Twitch.
At this time, the allegations against Tyson remain unproven. Tyson's departure from MrBeast was described as a mutual decision, aiming to prioritize her family and mental health.
