Hailey Bieber responds to divorce rumours with Justin Bieber

"People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one," said Hailey Bieber in an interview.

Despite Hailey Bieber's confidence in her marriage to Justin Bieber, the relentless scrutiny on their relationship is challenging.

The Rhode Skin founder, currently expecting her first child with the "Baby" singer, recently spoke out about the rumors concerning their relationship status.

"People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one," the 27-year-old told W Magazine in an interview published July 23. "'Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.' It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy."

"I used to try to act like it hurts less and less," Hailey, who married Justin in September 2018, continued. "I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less."

One reason the couple chose to keep her pregnancy private for the first six months is their desire for privacy.

"I probably could have hid it until the end,” Hailey, who shared the news publicly in May, noted. “But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly."

"I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good," she added. "I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life."

She has been balancing both, sharing pregnancy updates with her fans on social media while also cherishing private moments with Justin.

“I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me," she explained, "just the two of us.”
