Afghan nationals attacked the Pakistani consulate in Frankfurt, pelting it with stones and desecrating the Pakistani flag on Sunday.

Media reports indicate that the attack occurred during a protest by Afghan citizens.

Videos circulating on social media show the protesters storming the consulate, throwing stones, and removing the Pakistani flag.

Reports also suggest that the attackers attempted to burn the flag. German police have not made any arrests so far.

According to details, 8 to 10 Afghan nationals were involved in storming the Pakistani consulate and fled after taking down the Pakistani flag.

 

The incident has prompted Pakistani diplomatic officials to protest and demand an investigation from the German Foreign Ministry.

Pakistani officials have stated that the security of foreign diplomatic missions is the responsibility of the German government.

They expressed concern over the security of diplomatic installations, urging the international community to take note of the issue.

German authorities have assured Pakistani diplomatic officials in Frankfurt of a thorough investigation into the incident. According to foreign media, several individuals have been arrested following the circulation of videos on social media, and interrogations are ongoing.
