Keemstar recently addressed and debunked a controversial audio clip on social media platform X.
The clip allegedly featured Twitch star Pokimane using the N-word against Rumble streamer Sneako. The audio, which closely mimicked Pokimane’s natural speaking tone, led to widespread speculation about its authenticity.
Daniel M. Keem, known online as Keemstar, is an American YouTuber, podcaster, and streamer who is mainly known for being the host of the internet popular culture news show DramaAlert. On July 19, 2024, Keemstar clarified that the clip was generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and was not real.

The simulated audio featured a voice resembling Pokimane’s, berating Sneako and using racially charged and homophobic slurs. Its realistic sound, including natural inflections and tone shifts, made it easy for many to believe it was genuine.

The viral clip emerged amidst a public feud between Pokimane and Sneako. Their conflict began after Sneako defended Dr Disrespect during the Twitch Whisper controversy, where Dr Disrespect admitted to sending inappropriate messages to a minor. Pokimane responded to Sneako’s comments by calling him a “cu*k,” prompting Sneako to retaliate on his livestream, escalating the altercation.
