Jennifer Lopez ditches 'Ben' necklace for a personalized piece amid Ben Affleck divorce speculation

Despite flaunting the new "Jennifer" necklace on Friday, Lopez did keep her wedding band on.

Jennifer Lopez was recently seen wearing a new "Jennifer" nameplate necklace as she left Equinox in the Hamptons on Friday. 

This appearance comes amid ongoing rumors suggesting that she and Ben Affleck might be heading towards a divorce.

The new gold necklace, which is embellished with sparkling diamonds, contrasts with the simpler "Jennifer" necklace she wore last July, which featured her name in capital letters and was plain gold without any decorations.

Lopez has a known preference for personalized jewelry and has often worn pieces that highlight her relationship with her husband.

Back in February, just before it was rumored that she and Affleck might have separated, she was seen wearing a gold necklace that displayed his last name in cursive script.

She also possesses a gold necklace that spells out "BEN" with individual letter charms and includes a heart charm, which she wore in 2021 and again in 2023.

In 2022, Lopez showcased a new necklace that read "Jennifer & Ben" in cursive. This customizable piece, made of 14k yellow gold, was purchased from Jennifer Zeuner and has a starting price of $176.

Despite flaunting the new "Jennifer" necklace on Friday, Lopez did not wear her usual relationship-themed jewelry after her workout, but she did keep her wedding band on. Notably, her ring finger was bare when she left the gym the previous day.

Lopez, who is 54 years old, is spending the summer in New York while Affleck, aged 51, remains in Los Angeles focusing on his work. The couple even spent their second wedding anniversary on opposite coasts.

On their anniversary, Lopez was seen on Long Island with her longtime manager, Benny Medina, rather than spending the day with Affleck.
