Country singer Ingrid Andress admitted to being 'drunk' during her national anthem performance at the MLB Home Run Derby.

Andress broke her silence on Tuesday, revealing plans to enter a rehab facility following criticism. "I'm not gonna bulls**t y'all, I was drunk last night," she shared on X, formerly Twitter, after her off-key rendition became national news.

Andress expressed remorse, stating, "I'm checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I'll let y'all know how rehab is. I hear it's fun," she concluded, signing off with, "xo, Ingrid."

The Grammy-nominated artist drew comparisons to Fergie's NBA All-Star Game performance, with some saying Andress's rendition was worse. Despite this, the crowd gave her a round of applause, although a few boos were audible during the ESPN broadcast. The event concluded with the Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez winning his first Home Run Derby title.

Andress, 32, gained fame with her 2019 single "More Hearts Than Mine," which peaked at 30 on the Billboard Hot 100. She received a Grammy nomination in 2021 for Best Country Song and another nomination last year for her hit "Wishful Thinking," featuring Sam Hunt.
