Journalist gunned down in Peshawar

PESHAWAR:

Senior Journalist, Hassan Zeb, was gunned down by unknown assailants in of Peshawar on Sunday. Khyber Union of Journalist (KhUJ) President Nasir Hussain, General Secretary Imran Yousafzai and Peshawar Press Club condemned the incident and demanded for the arrest of the killers.

K-P Governor Faisal Karim Kundi also condemned killing of the journalist and expressed regret over the incident and heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family.

The police should ensure the arrest of the killers of the slain journalist as soon as possible, the Governor said. He added that justice would be ensured to the family of the slain journalist.
