News Desk July 16, 2024

In consultation with the ICC, Pakistan has finalised the budget for the ICC Champions Trophy.

The budget was prepared by ICC Chief Finance Officer Ankur Khanna and Pakistan Cricket Board CFO Javed Murtaza on Tuesday. The annual ICC meetings will commence on July 19 in Colombo.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and CEO Salman Naseer will represent Pakistan and are scheduled to depart on July 18.

The budget will be presented for approval on July 22 during the Colombo meetings. The agenda for that day is solely focused on the budget approval, with no additional or emergency budget discussions planned.

Pakistan is set to host the ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

Pitches and grounds are being prepared under the guidance of ICC curator Andy Atkinson.

An ICC delegation is expected to visit Pakistan in October to review preparations, following visits by three different delegations so far.
