Women's T20 Asia Cup: Pakistan's 15-member cricket team arrives in Sri Lanka

Pakistan's 15-member national women's cricket team has arrived in Sri Lanka to participate in the Women's T20 Asia Cup.

The tournament, featuring eight teams, will be held in Dambulla from July 19 to July 28.

The Pakistani squad, led by Nida Dar, travelled from Karachi to Colombo via Dubai and will play their first match against traditional rivals and defending champions India on July 19.

Their subsequent matches are scheduled against Nepal on July 21 and the United Arab Emirates on July 23.

The team includes notable players such as Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, and Muniba Ali.

The tournament's eight teams are divided into two groups. Group A comprises Pakistan, India, Nepal, and the UAE, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, and hosts Sri Lanka. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the final set for July 28.
