Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) condemned the recent attack at former US President Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania and expressed wishes for his health and safety.
A spokesperson for PTI stated on Sunday that there is no room for armed and violent actions in democracy, emphasising that achieving peaceful politics free from power and aggression poses a significant challenge for democratic nations worldwide.
"As the most popular and representative party of the Pakistani people, PTI advocates for peace, dialogue, and reason," the spokesperson affirmed.
"Attacks on fundamental human rights, constitutions, and democratic institutions anywhere in the world are an assault on global democracy that requires concerted action by the international community to address."
The spokesperson further remarked that their sympathies and good wishes are with the people of the United States.
The incident highlights ongoing concerns over political violence and the need for collective efforts to promote a peaceful democratic process globally.
