Serena Williams and husband Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian join daughter Olympia, 6, at 2024 ESPYS

This is the first time Olympia has walked the red carpet with her parents since the premiere of King Richard in 2021.

Serena Williams is feeling the love at the 2024 ESPY Awards.

In attendance, the tennis champion accompanied her husband Alexis Ohanian and their 6-year-old daughter Olympia to the prestigious annual award ceremony honoring excellence in sports.

Serena, who hosted the event, chose a sleek black gown from Armani Privé with an embellished neckline and straps for the family affair. Her daughter, dressed in a patterned white dress by Dolce & Gabbana and shiny silver sandals, also showcased her stylish flair on the red carpet.

Alexis opted for a timeless black Gucci suit, adding a touch of color to his formal attire with turquoise Nike sneakers.

This event is the first time Olympia has walked the red carpet with her parents since the premiere of King Richard in 2021, a film that focuses on her grandfather, Richard Williams, who is also Serena's father.

Since then, the family has experienced a series of changes, including Serena's retirement from tennis and the arrival of their daughter Adira last year.

In 2022, Serena explained to Time: "It comes to a point where women sometimes have to make different choices than men, if they want to raise a family."

At 42, Serena holds no resentment about her transition from tennis, but she was surprised when Olympia expressed enthusiasm about her retirement.

"Olympia doesn't like when I play tennis," Serena remarked, mentioning that her daughter was cheering when she heard the news. "It's hard to completely commit when your flesh and blood is saying, Aw."
