Actress Alexandra Daddario, 38, and her husband, television and film producer Andrew Form, 55, are expecting their first child together. The couple, who married in 2021, shared the joyous news through Vogue on Wednesday, July 10.
The announcement reveals that Daddario has been keeping her pregnancy private for six months. Vogue also posted several photos on Instagram featuring The White Lotus star cradling her baby bump.
Daddario expressed her happiness to Vogue, stating she is "overjoyed" about the pregnancy. She also opened up about previously experiencing a pregnancy loss, saying, "I had been pregnant, and I had loss. It’s long and complicated, so I don’t want to be too specific. Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them. I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I d
idn’t understand fully before. It’s very, very painful.”
The couple's relationship became public on May 13, 2021, when Daddario posted a black-and-white photo of them on Instagram. Later that year, a source confirmed that they were engaged.
Six months after the engagement, Daddario and Form tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in New Orleans. The wedding was held at Preservation Hall, with Form's two children serving as groomsmen and ring bearers. Guests enjoyed a second line parade through the streets, leading to the reception at Bar Marilou.
Form, who was previously married to actress Jordana Brewster, has two sons, Rowan and Julian, from his previous marriage. He met Daddario by chance during the COVID-19 pandemic when they bumped into each other on a street in New York.
Daddario shared her happiness about her relationship on Instagram, writing, "The absolutely most wonderful man, you handle nonsense, loss, life, difficulty, people, with grace and compassion." She added that Form took the "worst moments" of her life and made everything better.
The couple is now looking forward to welcoming their first child, marking a new and joyous chapter in their lives.
