Katy Perry has revealed another preview of her upcoming single "Woman's World." Recently, the singer posted a teaser of the music video featuring Perry dressed as Rosie the Riveter, suggesting a theme centered around women empowerment.
Perry sings, "Celebrate, we ain’t going away."
The video includes scenes of Perry drinking "Whiskey for Women" directly from the bottle and playfully wielding a bedazzled hammer while dressed in a toolbelt and Timberland-inspired heels.
Another moment shows a close-up of Perry's cleavage in a sparkling American flag top she wore on the Fourth of July. The visual concludes with a dramatic scene where a large anchor falls on Perry's head, seemingly crushing her.
Following the video teaser, Perry posted a picture of herself in a futuristic mermaid costume stepping out of a portal, captioning it, “Sleep tight, for tomorrow, the portal opens.” The day prior, Perry shared an image of a deflated version of herself from the music video, announcing that the video for the song will premiere at 7 p.m. ET on July 11.
In late June, Perry unveiled the lyrics to her new song by wearing a red dress with a 500-foot train displaying the complete words. The lyrics included lines like “Sexy, confident/So intelligent/She is heaven-sent/So soft, so strong,” and “She’s a winner/Champion/ Superhuman/Number one.”
