Three soldiers martyred during fire exchange with terrorists in South Waziristan: ISPR
Three soldiers were martyred during a fire exchange between security forces and terrorists on Tuesday, the military’s media wing reported.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident occurred in South Waziristan District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).
Sepoy Asad Ullah, 30, from Mitiari District, Sepoy Muhammad Sufyan, 28, from DI Khan District, and Non Combatant Bearer Zain Ali, 24, from Bahwalnagar District, fought gallantly and embraced martyrdom.
"Sanitisation operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area," stated the ISPR.

"Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve," the statement concluded.
On the same day Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad, aged 24, was martyred in a firefight that took place between security forces and terrorists in the North Waziristan district.
During the engagement, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location, as a result of which two terrorists were killed.
