The price of gold on Tuesday has seen a decline in both global and local markets, with the price per ounce fallen by $12 to reach $2362.
Locally, the price per tola has decreased by Rs100, settling at Rs245,000 from previous 245100 and the price per ten grams has dropped by Rs. 86 to Rs. 210,048.
Earlier this week, the price of gold surged by Rs 2,900 in three days. Market analysts attribute the rise in local gold prices to subdued buying activity, prompting them to set the local market price of gold per tola at Rs. 3,000, reflecting current market conditions.
