Three siblings among 5 injured by robbers

Five people, including three minor siblings, were injured over resistance during robberies, while two robbers were severely injured by a shopkeeper's firing.

According to the police, three robbers went to a poultry shop on Siddhar on Jhang Road and looted Rs50,000.

During the time, a 22-year-old employee of the shop, Danish, resisted the robbers, upon which they shot him in the head. The shopkeeper also opened fire on the robbers, as a result of which two of them were injured after being hit by bullets in the leg and stomach.

One of the robbers escaped from the spot despite being shot. Later SHO Arslan Bari arrested him near Chota Bypass and shifted him to the Allied Hospital through rescue staff. The condition of both the robbers and Danish was stated to be critical in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Sajda Bibi, a resident of Toba Tek Singh, was travelling with her children when robbers opened fire on the coaster near Chak 114JB. As a result, her 10-year-old daughter Momina, seven-year-old Zaman and eight-year-old Muhammad Ahmed were injured.

In another incident, Syed Zaheer Qamar, 44, was coming on a motorcycle from Kharrianwala to Faisalabad Road when robbers shot him after failing to stop him.
