At least four Indian army troopers were killed and six others wounded in a separatist attack Monday on an army convoy in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kasmir (IIOJK), local media reports quoting officials said.
The convoy was attacked in Machedi area of Kathua district, about 300 km south of Srinagar, the summer capital of IIOJK.
Separatists reportedly first lobbed a grenade and then resorted to heavy firing, which was retaliated by the troopers.
