Ashley Olsen and her husband Louis Eisner are soaking up the summer sun in the Hamptons with their new addition. The couple, who tied the knot in December 2022, were spotted shopping in the famous Long Island neighbourhood on Thursday, July 4. Olsen, 38, and Eisner, 35, kept things casual in oversized white caftans and black sweatpants, respectively, and both wore black sunglasses to complete their laid-back looks.
The former child star and Eisner, an artist, welcomed their first baby months ago, but have kept the details of their little one's arrival private. Neither Olsen nor Eisner have publicly shared their child's name, sex, or birth date, but it's clear they're thrilled to be parents.
Olsen's Full House costars, Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin, were overjoyed by the news of the baby's arrival. "I just heard this morning that Ashley Olsen had a baby! That blows my mind," Barber said on her podcast. Sweetin chimed in, "The baby had a baby... I'm sorry, I know she's not a baby. She's a 37-year-old woman, I realize that. But it's like when the youngest member of your family has a kid. It's like, 'Ah, it's happening!'"
Ashley and her twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen, 38, shared the role of Michelle Tanner on Full House between 1987 and 1995. After the show ended, the twins went on to become household names, starring in movies and TV shows before eventually stepping back from the spotlight to focus on their fashion brand.
The Olsen twins have always been private about their personal lives, and it seems that's still the case. In a 2021 interview with i-D magazine, Ashley said, "We were raised to be discreet people... We definitely go by intuition and instinct and it can either confirm that feeling, or if we're both not feeling right about something, for some reason, we just don't do it." Mary-Kate added.
