Pokimane worried for Dr Disrespect's children amid sexting scandal

Twitch star Pokimane has voiced her concern for Dr Disrespect's children following his admission of inappropriate messaging with a minor. 

Dr Disrespect, whose real name is Guy Beahm, has faced widespread condemnation from viewers, fellow streamers, and major companies after revealing that his misconduct with an underaged person in 2017 led to his sudden and permanent ban from Twitch in 2020. He is currently on an “extended holiday” with his family, while his friends and fellow streamers publicly distance themselves from him.

During a broadcast reacting to Packgod’s diss track, Pokimane shared her worries about the impact of Beahm's actions on his children. “Honestly, thinking about how he has kids makes me sad,” she said. “Even watching videos like this. Like, we’re memeing on him, but I’m just so worried that someday they grow up and they see all of this. Girl, that’s a lot to unpack in therapy.”

Pokimane, whose real name is Imane Anys, also expressed surprise upon learning Dr Disrespect’s age, stating she thought he was in his mid-thirties rather than 42.
