Kanye West's Yeezy website announced on July 3 that it is no longer accepting orders after dramatically reducing prices to just $20.

The homepage of yeezy.com now displays a minimal message stating, "YZY IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING ONLINE PURCHASES," along with the date and time.

The website also assures customers that "ALL EXISTING ORDERS WILL BE FULFILLED," listing 7,371 remaining orders.

The shutdown follows Kanye's recent closure of his Yews News platform and the significant price reduction of Yeezy merchandise, which included items like Yeezy Pods originally priced at $200.

This drastic move saw sales surge, with Kanye revealing in a now-deleted Instagram post that 294,357 orders were placed within 24 hours of a Super Bowl 2024 commercial airing, generating $19.3 million in sales.

In the commercial, Kanye personally invited viewers to visit the site, stating, "Hey y’all, this is Ye, and this is my commercial...we didn’t spend any money on the actual commercial. But the idea is I want you to go to yeezy.com."

His aspiration for affordable Yeezy merchandise was highlighted in a now-deleted Instagram post where he criticized Gap for not reducing prices to $20, emphasizing his desire to break away from "classism."

Despite the commercial success, Kanye has yet to comment on why the site has ceased operations or whether it will be restocked with new items in the future.

The closure of Yews News, which offered original content and articles from various media outlets, including The U.S. Sun, also remains unexplained.

Kanye's recent ventures have faced numerous challenges, including public controversies and legal battles.

The rapper has been "canceled" several times over the past few years, facing backlash for antisemitic remarks and his styling of his wife, Bianca Censori.

He is also entangled in financial and legal issues, with lawsuits from former Yeezy and Donda Academy staffers and a private arbitration battle with Adidas.

Kanye has consistently denied any wrongdoing, seeking dismissal of the complaints and coverage of his attorney's fees.

As fans and shoppers await further updates, they will have to rely on vintage and previous limited-release Yeezy items until the brand's next steps are revealed.
